C-Green has received a grant from the Swedish Energy Agency for a new application – conversion of municipal wastewater sewage sludge into valuable resources.

The Swedish Energy Agency has approved a 40 MSEK grant to C-Green for a research and development project that will apply and adapt our OxyPower HTC™ technology to sludge from municipal wastewater treatment, resulting in the production of energy and biofuel and the recycling of the nitrogen and phosphorus in the sludge. This demonstration plant will have twice the capacity of our pulp- and paper demonstration plant in Heinola.
