IVL report concludes C-Green’s technology can enable sustainable recycling of nutrients and reduce greenhouse gas emissions
Together with IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute and the municipal wastewater treatment company Roslagsvatten, C-Green is a part of a unique collaboration with the goal of building the world's first ‘sludge-free’ sewage treatment plant in Margretelund, near Stockholm. C-Green’s mobile OxyPower HTC™ pilot plant is now on-site converting sludge into HTC biocoal.
The project group has just published its first report, which concludes that C-Green’s technology “can enable sustainable recycling of nutrients and have other positive effects including the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.”
